Until recently I didn't realise that I'm very fond of Electronica music. To me its like an alternative version of Hip-Hop and Pop blended together, with bits of psychedelia at times.
I have been repeatedly listening to Chinese Man's 'That Tune'. The video features 1930s cartoon characters such as Betty Boop who dancing and at some stages lip syncing to the song. Like Psychedelic music, Electronica has an arty feel to it.
If you ask me Electronica artists are more talented than many of today's mainstream Pop artists. The music videos I've seen are certainly more creative.
As a Beatles fan I always told myself "there will never be anyone like them". But a modern day version of The Beatles would probably be some band that went from Bubblegum pop to Electronica. I have no idea if such a band exist but who knows.
